Instead of ‘place making’ we focus on ‘place becoming’ – allowing the natural surroundings and civic essence of a community to come forth as an integrated whole. To do this, we engage in dialogue with the community to gain insights into the sense of “place” and to discover what has attracted (and keeps) individuals & families in the community. This dialogue informs the sustainable development process in a manner that addresses the collective vision, concerns and needs of the community.
